JSPCA
Founded in 1868, the Jersey Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA)'s original goal was to change the public's towards animals! The shelter itself was established in 1913 and, in 1936, the charity combined forces with the Jersey Animals’ Shelter.
The JSPCA cares for the Island's sick, unwanted, lost and aged companion animals and wildlife. In case of emergency, a 24hr Animal Ambulance is available and the building is home to dedicated Kennel and Clinic Teams who work to provide every day, veterinary and behavioural care to the animals. The shelter's friendly staff strive to find each and every companion animal a loving new home!
The JSPCA relies on the help of Jersey residents to succeed. To help, make a donation, volunteer, adopt a pet, leave a legacy or host a fundraiser.
“Prevent cruelty, promote knowledge, and provide for the aged, sick, lost and unwanted animals in Jersey”
